Our monthly Insta hit-list of green-spiration for the month ahead. Because who doesn’t want their ‘gram to be a greener place? From @afixofgreen’s daily plant-based musings, to @amywybrow’s botanical greenhouse prints, and @melissamlo’s homemade plant remedies, these are our must-follows this September...

1. @afixofgreen

Describing themselves as a “houseplant addict, cactus collector, succulent grower, and a sower of seeds”, who spends their time hanging out in their greenhouse, @afixofgreen is your go to for all things plant related. Expect snaps of her impressive giant monstera collection, and plenty of greenhouse inspiration.

2. @melissamlo

@melissamlo is your go-to for sound plant care tips and advice. Whether she’s sharing her weekly watering routine, or explaining the benefits of her hydrogen peroxide-based homemade soil remedy, Mel’s ‘green notes’ will have your plants looking tip top in no time.

3. @somewhereIwouldliketolive

So @somewhereIwouldliketolive isn’t strictly green, but as the dark nights draw in, we thought it fit to look further ashore for a spot of botanical inspiration. Curated by Ruben Ortiz and Katty Schiebeck, who collectively form Schiebeck Studio (an interior design outfit), the account shares a plethora of exotic green settings worldwide.

4. @margo.hupert.art

Margo is an artist, illustrator and home designer with a penchant for plants. Head to her account for an abundance of interior inspiration, beautifully illustrated botanical prints, and the odd cameo from her elegant four legged friend.

5. @amywybrow

Amy Wybrow is a botanical photographer based in New Zealand who shares her tropical art on Instagram. From her dusty desert Cactus Bay series, to her lush botanical greenhouse prints – one scroll through the account and you too will be ordering one of Amy’s striking photographic prints.
