The stunning gardens at Hoghton Tower and lively marketplace spring to mind when considering Darwen, a town built atop the River Darwen and known locally as “Darren”. The town was one of very few European towns to host a visit from Gandhi in the 1930s, when he was invited to visit their mill workers. The Coat of Arms of Darwen is adorned with three cotton flowers, symbolising the importance the town’s cotton industry had in its expansion.
The various wildflowers of Sunnyhurst Woods provide inspiration for some of our gorgeous bouquets available from local florists. We only work with independent florists, local artisans from Darwen who can encapsulate the town’s charm in an elegant, vibrant bunch of fresh cut flowers. We offer same-day and next-day delivery, so there’s never any stress when ordering online.
We cater to any event or occasion, with perfect flower bundles of varying size and colour. A few quick clicks and a gorgeous flower arrangement can be sent through Darwen to the lucky recipient. We can even pop a hand-written note alongside it for that special touch.

Darwen’s flower is the Red Rose (Rosa Gallica Officinalis), a symbol of love, affection, and attraction for hundreds of years. The smell and bright colour of a rose set it apart as one of the most iconic flowers in English botanical history – its delicate, silky petals used as inspiration for countless designers – be it in homeware, fashion, or even art.

Thanks so much for getting my delivery shipped so fast. They were lovely flowers too! Great quality and service. Thans again! Emma
Exquisite. Even more beautiful in person, and apparently they smelt really lovely, like real flowers used to, but mostly don't with deliveries. Super impressed and will definitely order again!
I'm told the flowers were fine and everything about the order worked.
Flowers looked lovely although the colour was different to the advertised pink. I would call that apricot. Disappointed with the greenery looks heavy against the roses, perhaps because of the way it was arranged, a finer greenery would have been nicer or even some gypsophila, but I understand you can only arrange what is available at any given time. As the order was requested from New Zealand, service and delivery was excellent. Thank you
They were exactly as in the picture, big, beautiful and in pristine condition. They arrived on time on the required day. Fantastic all round.
They were delivered promptly by hand and were so appreciated.
