Located in Alameda County, the city of Livermore is the most populous settlement in the Tri-Valley of the East Bay Area.
Ten miles south of town, the Del Valle Regional Park provides visitors with over four-thousand acres of North California wilderness to explore. With trails, campgrounds and a large lake complete with beaches and boat launches, this is one of the valley’s most beautiful areas of preservation.
Closer to town but just south of the centre, Livermore’s numerous vineyards produce some of the region’s best wines. Concannon vineyard is popular with locals and tourists alike, offering tours of both the vineyard and winery building as well as the all-important tasting experience. The vineyard also hosts a number of cultural and wine-based events.
