Based in New York City, Ode Ă la Rose â it may not surprise you to discover â was founded by two Parisians with a certain âpenchantâ for the mighty rose. Why roses? Well, in their formative years Olivier and Louis liked to consider themselves âsmoothâ. However even these two suave gentlemen recognized they needed help with their game sometimes. âWhen words werenât quite enough, we turned to rosesâŚâ
With the help of their secret weapon they decided to tackle the Big Apple â and were immediately scuppered, they believed, by what they saw as a lack of high-quality rose-based arrangements. Working in the financial district, âwe couldnât find the elegant beauty of rose bouquets we were accustomed to finding just about anywhere in Paris.â All they wanted was to send beautiful roses to their girlfriendsâŚ
Thus Ode Ă la Rose was born, and those girlfriends are now wives!
