Located about twenty miles from London in the county of Hertfordshire, Hemel Hempstead was developed as a ‘new town’ in the wake of the mess left by World War Two. An affluent settlement, Hemel Hempstead is not short on cultural attractions and points of interest.
Bovingdon Market is an extremely popular Saturday and Bank Holiday market in the town. Located on a disused airfield, there are over 400 shops showcasing everything from food to fashion and, of course, flowers.
Located nearby is the church of England cathedral of St Albans, a hugely significant Norman structure that’s renowned across the country as Britain’s oldest cathedral. Dating back to 793, it still features much of the original Norman architecture, which was added some three-hundred years later in about 1077. The cathedral honors Alban, Britain’s first Christian martyr, who is thought to have been executed by the Romans in the late 3rd century close to Hemel Hempstead.

Great choice of flowers and got delivered on time - will use again
Great experience, very easy to use and organise. I sent two seperate bunches to diff addresses in the UK, I live in New Zealand so wasn’t sure how to organise this easily, Floom was a breeze, no issues, plenty of choice, quick payment and flowers arrived on time on schedule. Thank you.
Very pretty and my girlfriend loves it. Only problem is they don’t call when they deliver.
Really lovely flowers - super prompt and easy delivery
My only critiques are the flowers received were different than those in the photo . I was trying to avoid roses as they die quickly but the bouquet was mostly roses it seemed. Also ask zip code first please so you only see what’s actually available in that area. Otherwise I’ve been very pleased ! Thank you ….
Beautiful flowers delivered, small issue with communications but flowers arrived on the day
Floom’s flowers were actually more beautiful in person! I would highly recommend :)
I have both received and sent flowers with Floom and had wonderful experiences both times! I love the unique arrangements from the array of florists they work with. It is a nice change of pace from the same bouquets at all the other usual suspects, and I really like to find new local shops to support.
