Hatfield is an affluent town in the English county of Hertfordshire, about 20 miles north of London.
Hatfield House is an early 17th century country house set within a large park on the east side of Hatfield. Built on the site of Elizabeth I’s childhood home, this Jacobean stately home is a grand and opulent structure that’s open to the public. With lush gardens that are perfectly maintained, the area is something of a local hub for flora enthusiasts.
Adjacent to the town is Stanborough Park, a 126-acre area that includes two lakes and sprawling green areas. Popular with local families as well as walkers and runners, the park contains some of the areas best floral displays.
