Debbie Western Flowers
When Debbie Western was a schoolgirl, she went on a school trip to Holland. From that moment on, she knew she wanted to be a florist. “I fell in love with the flowers out there almost straight away,” she says.
Today she has her own floristry in Rotherhithe, not far from Tower Bridge and the River Thames, while her love of flowers from Holland isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. “We source all of our flowers from the best suppliers and growers in Holland and the UK, ensuring we have the widest and freshest range possible,” she explains.
Debbie brings a lot of experience to her natural, free flowing designs. “I’ve been a florist for many years and also worked as a floral designer, college lecturer and examiner for the Society of Floristry,” she says. Always the aim is to provide customers with bouquets that have “wow factor and a bit of va va voom.”
