Ilkley is a spa town located in northern England in the western portion of the county of Yorkshire. A charming settlement with Victorian character, Ilkley is known for the nearby Ilkley Moor and the folk song named after it.
Ilkley Moor is a scenic area close to the town that rises to over 400m above sea level. A popular area for hikers and walkers, the moor is the inspiration for a folk anthem that has become the adopted theme of Yorkshire.
