"Tao Po" is a filipino sentence which you use when you knock on someones door to say hi! A unique bouquet made just for you, or somebody you love, arranged and delivered in a glass cylinder vase. Mahal Kita is a creative florist based between the city and the seaside, harboured in Margate’s Old Town. Our design philosophy is creating luxury items of transient beauty and high impact for all of life’s highlights, milestones and celebrations. We work hard to make sure we can offer everyone in reach beautiful flowers all throughout the year. Our style is always a little bit maverick, english-tropical and OTT, using inventive methods and the best seasonal flowers we can get our hands on. Wether this bouquet is a gift or a bit of self-love, we will try our very hardest to make sure its fresh, inspiring, great value and making sure it stands out in a crowd. We will select the best flowers available on the day of delivery using similar tones, colours and shapes however due to the nature of the industry the bouquet may not have the exact same flowers as the image, but we will do our best to contact you beforehand if any replacements are made. The arrangement will be similar or greater value, and will never decrease in stem count. This bouquet will be delivered and arranged in a vase. Our standard is a cylinder coldcut glass vase which is 23cm tall, but this may vary according to availability. We deliver Tuesday to Friday, but will happily take requests for additional delivery slots during the week. For same-day deliveries, the cutoff is 1PM, and may be unavailable at certain dates.

How to care for your flowers

  • Clean your vase to prevent bacteria.

  • Fill 2/3 of vase with water.

  • Remove any leaves under water to prevent bacteria.

  • Cut 2-3cm off each stem every few days.

  • Change water when it becomes discoloured and top it up when needed.

  • Keep flowers away from draughts, direct sunlight and ripening fruit.

  • Remove wilting flowers to prevent from mould (Botrytis).
