Description

Need a bit of tropical fever? This pineapple plant including a vibrant pot should brighten up any room. The plant's aromatics helps to open the airways, and produces a lot of oxygen. The lush leaves on this plant, topped with a pineapple, make this the ideal present! This tropical plant needs very high humidity. Always keep the soil moist, without letting the plant stand in water. Pour the water on the soil as well as the plant. Spray the leaves once in a while, as well. This prevents the leaf edges from drying out. The plant likes light, but not the blazing midday sun.

How to care for your plants

  • Your plant’s pot should have holes in the bottom so it is able to drain water easily.

  • If reusing a pot that had other plants in it, it is recommended you wash the pot, killing any mould or bacteria.

  • Do not over water your plant as the roots will rot.

  • Most plants need to be kept by a good source of natural light.

  • You should fertilise your plant every two months. You can use all purpose fertiliser.

  • Any dead or fallen leaves should be removed to prevent bacteria and mould. Dead branches should also be removed.
