Description

Looking for a house plant for the not so green fingered friend? Then look no further! This Zamioculcas is extremely easy to care for. Light place, dark place or forget to water him once (or three times). He remains zen and in the meantime keeps his green looks. It’s fine if you forget to water him every now and then. Make sure that the soil dries up between watering and that the water can leave the pot. A foot bath is the only thing the Zamioculcas really can’t stand. And oh yes, the cold. Do not lower the temperature in your home below 16°C. This plant originally comes from countries such as Kenya, Zimbabwe and Tanzania, Where you’ll find this plant everywhere in the wild.

How to care for your plants

  • Your plant’s pot should have holes in the bottom so it is able to drain water easily.

  • If reusing a pot that had other plants in it, it is recommended you wash the pot, killing any mould or bacteria.

  • Do not over water your plant as the roots will rot.

  • Most plants need to be kept by a good source of natural light.

  • You should fertilise your plant every two months. You can use all purpose fertiliser.

  • Any dead or fallen leaves should be removed to prevent bacteria and mould. Dead branches should also be removed.
