The snake plant is virtually indestructible, if you are looking for a low maintenance indoor plant then look no further - as it is probably the toughest and most tolerant house plant you can find. The snake plant has attractive patterned leaves that don't flop or spread. It's great for small spaces.
The plant is sent out in a terracotta plastic pot.
The main thing to avoid with this plant is over- watering, so only water when the compost gets dry. In winter you can cut back even more and only water every month or two and keep temperatures above 10°C.
It is quite common for these plants to have small nicks or scars on their leaves. This does not affect their long term health in any way.
