Littlebourne is a village and civil parish 4 miles east of Canterbury in Kent. The settlement is home to a church dedicated to the patron saint of winemakers owing to experts believing that Canterbury monks used the area as a vineyard during the medieval period. The name Littlebourne has been in use since the seventh century, when a king called gave land, called Littlebournes in the native language, to Canterbury's St Augustine's Abbey.
