Common Heather (Calluna Vulgaris) grows natively across Staffordshire, littering heath and moorland around Wombourne. The mauve flowers of heather, blooming in late-summer, provide the otherwise verdant countryside with flashes of intense colour.
Heather is highly valued both for its beauty and its edible properties, which have for centuries made it an indispensable component of life for many in the British isles. Heather honey is a widely loved delicacy yet perhaps less well-known is heather beer, a favourite in England, Scotland and Wales throughout the middle-ages. Today it is still produced by a few small, craft breweries, yet under strict regulations.
Floom’s flowers for delivery in Wombourne are inspired by the wild beauty of Heather, the town’s floral emblem. Florists in Wombourne continue to work with heather when crafting their handmade arrangement.
Great choice of flowers and got delivered on time - will use again
Great experience, very easy to use and organise. I sent two seperate bunches to diff addresses in the UK, I live in New Zealand so wasn’t sure how to organise this easily, Floom was a breeze, no issues, plenty of choice, quick payment and flowers arrived on time on schedule. Thank you.
Very pretty and my girlfriend loves it. Only problem is they don’t call when they deliver.
Really lovely flowers - super prompt and easy delivery
My only critiques are the flowers received were different than those in the photo . I was trying to avoid roses as they die quickly but the bouquet was mostly roses it seemed. Also ask zip code first please so you only see what’s actually available in that area. Otherwise I’ve been very pleased ! Thank you ….
Beautiful flowers delivered, small issue with communications but flowers arrived on the day
Floom’s flowers were actually more beautiful in person! I would highly recommend :)
I have both received and sent flowers with Floom and had wonderful experiences both times! I love the unique arrangements from the array of florists they work with. It is a nice change of pace from the same bouquets at all the other usual suspects, and I really like to find new local shops to support.
