Swadlincote's Finest Independent Florists

A town in the English county of Derbyshire, Swadlincote is a medium-sized community close to the borders with Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

Initially built as an Augustinian priory dating back to the 12th century, Calke Abbey is a grade I listed building close to Swadlincote. After Henry VIII dissolved the monasteries, the structure became a country estate and since then it has slowly fell into decline. Rather than having a negative impact on the property, the disrepair of the estate adds to its charm and provides an excellent example of an isolated phenomenon. Today, the grounds around the house are the main attraction of Calke Abbey, with picturesque walled gardens featuring a host of local wildflowers.

Foremark Reservoir is a 230 acre reserve that’s frequently used by the Swadlincote public for walking, fishing, bird watching and horse riding. A key element of the town’s leisure life, Foremark is a scenic area which in summer attracts throngs of tourists to its snug beaches and woodland picnic areas.

Throughout the area, from Woodville to Church Gresley, Floom’s Swadlincote flower delivery covers the entire community.
