Southend On Sea is a resort town located on the Thames Estuary in the southeast English county of Essex.
Southend is home to the longest pleasure pier in the world. At 1.34 miles long, there is even a small train running the length of the pier, transporting revellers from the shore to the end of the pier, which holds a museum.
