Linlithgow is a town in the Scottish county of West Lothian. Situated north of the union canal, the town has long been a key area of commerce within the area.
Linlithgow Palace is by far the area’s most popular attraction and was once one of the main residences for Scottish Monarchs, between the 15th and 16th centuries. Although today the palace is in ruins, it manages to maintain much of its former elegance and attracts thousands of visitors each year to its location on the shores of Linlithgow Loch.
