According to the founder Oxana Sanukova of San Francisco’s Sol Ambiance, the flower studio reflects the “style, creativity, and diversity of the people it serves” – and unless our eyes deceive us, they’re a truly eclectic bunch.
Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s Richmond District, the award-winning team of designers at Sol Ambiance pride themselves on crafting arrangements – from the freshest seasonal blooms and foliage sourced from San Francisco Flower Market, local farms, and exotic imports – that bring the beauty of nature to your home, or celebration.
Oxana has wanted to work with flowers for as long as she can remember. Having saved enough money to take short floristry classes during the fourth year of her chemical engineering degree at university, it was when Oxana moved to the USA that she started working at a florist not far from her Sol Ambiance studeio.
Having grown up in the countryside surrounded by sprawling forests and Europe’s Volga river, floristry is an outlet through which Oxana is able to feel closer to nature – something that’s reflected in the natural, whimsical style of floristry that Sol Ambiance has become famed for.
